This week, of course, was a big one because of the Ohio Farm Science Review. We had a great show and want to thank the hundreds of customers who stopped by our booth to say hi and talk equipment. Yetter stalk devastators, strip till, and Copperhead concaves were hot items this week. Also on display was a 40' HALO VRT that will be headed to SE Ohio. This unit is a beast and is the largest VRT available. Tuesday we will be hosting a strip till demo day. Be sure to read more about that below. Seeder installs, in field service, and Salford tool assemblies will keep our shop super busy over the next several weeks. Crops are beginning to be taken off across Ohio, beans are drier than expected, yields are everywhere as expected. It will be very interesting to see how this early harvest plays out. Hopefully it turns into a big demo season for us this fall.

This strip till unit is one of two bars we are installing Valmar cover crop seeders on. The idea is to build strips in the fall and also seed cover crops at the same time.
A 40' HALO VRT was on display at Farm Science. This unit is headed to SE Ohio where it will seed cover crops and of course bury stalks and prep seed beds.
The 40' Halo VRT is a beast, and there isn’t much it cannot do. The largest width available in a VRT with the largest seeder available. See it in the video below.
