Salford Fall Tillage Tools Are Shining Already This Fall

The crops are starting to dry down fast, most silage is done, and you can see some mowed off bean fields from time to time. This week we did 4 Salford tillage demos across Ohio and Indiana, and even with how hard and dry the ground was we had some great demos with the VRT and 5200. We have two planters in the shop at the moment. Check out the video below to see what we are doing with those. We are almost finished getting moved back from the Farm Science Review. I think we have one more trip to go before we are finished. This time of year is demo time. All summer we talk about what our equipment can do and now it is time to show guys on their farm what we are talking about. As crops come off, we are towing around tools to show how we can push their operation forward. Next week we have the front page in the Northeast edition of TractorHouse magazine. Be sure to find our ad on there.

Salford Fall Tillage Tools Are Shining Already This Fall

I got a jump start on tillage demos this fall. I found some seed corn in northern Indiana to demo on, some silage ground here in Ohio and also some summer wheat ground. Nonetheless, I learned a lot demoing these tools just this week because every demo was a home run. The tools did exactly what the customer was after. But what I have learned is what tools can and cannot do, specifically the Halo VRT and the 5200.

VRT:There is not much at all this tool cannot do. It can replace a disk, a VT tool, it can work light, deep, shallow. I put it through its hardest test this week in some ground that was highway road hard and it penetrated 4.5".

5200:The best tool to incorporate any residue, manure, or hayground. Anything that you want buried. it will do with ease.
