Rain finally showed up this morning. Not that we needed it but I figured we could not make it through November without it slowing down harvest. A lot of guys can see the light at the end of the tunnel on harvest, most are 80% or more complete. Demos still made up for most of my week. Cody and I collectively performed 4 demonstrations yesterday, and we have a few more lined up for next week as well. Guys are really surprised by the shear amount of corn residue out there, and it is hard to manage, and needs managed in my opinion in some fashion for a healthy seedbed this spring.
Next week, we will have a field day event the day after Thanksgiving. A great time for the wife to go shopping and for you to do the same! It will be at the same location as the summer field day event. Also a great time to be ordering parts as they will be heavily discounted as well. This week I got a confirmation on an order for us to go install a Valmar seeder on a Sunflower tool at a dairy down in Florida. This will be our second trip there to install seeders down in the sunshine state.

Field Day on November 24th
While the women are out shopping, you now have something to shop for as well. A Black Friday field day! Our plan is to run Salford Tillage tools such as a Halo VRT, 5200 Enforcer, 2200 with Shanks, In-Line Ripper Etc.
