Indiana Farm Show And More Farm Storage Tanks In Stock

This week Cody, Kevin, and Adam attended the Indiana Farm and Technology Expo held at its new location in Westfield, IN. This show used to be at the fairgrounds, and we loved the new facility. Despite the beautiful weather outside, the crowd was pretty steady, and we were lucky enough to talk with dozens of great farmers in the area. Mild temperatures cover most of the midwest allowing some outside work to get done. We are starting to get lot of spring projects pushed into the shop for completion before spring. Luckily we still have inventory! This week we uploaded 2 podcasts for you to listen to. Be sure to do so on Spotify, Podbean, or click the link below.

Have a great weekend, and feel free to call 419-953-8500.

How the Yetter CC Strip Till Unit Can Make Strip Till a More Adaptable Option

Strip till has always been around. Guys have been doing it for years, and like everything it evolves to maximize efficiency. The famous idea of strip till was a deep shank with several coulters mounted to a 550+ lb row unit that requires 30 HP per row being pulled at 5.5 MPH. This is still an effective way and always will be. However, the CC unit has changed the idea and thinking. The question in the fall is always, "Will this strip mellow down enough to have a smooth even ride for my planter in the spring?" Why make the spring planting strip in the fall? The CC unit allows us to make the strip in the spring, in the fall, with a knife and without a knife. There is no other low horsepower unit that can do what this unit can do. It is literally 4 strip till units combined into 1.

The Talkin' Shed Podcast by Fennig Equipment

This week big things happened in the podcast world! We can now be found on Spotify, and we recorded our first ever podcast with a guest! Tune in now.

Finally a Guest! Jeff Wherley, Our Go-To Attachment Specialist
In this episode, we sat down with Jeff Wherley at the Indiana Farm Show. If you do not already know Jeff, it is likely you have talked to him on the phone. For 32 years, Jeff has been the frontline man when it comes to Yetter equipment east of the Mississippi. Being territory manager of such a large region, Jeff is seasoned, knows his stuff and we are fortunate to have him on our side. From Macomb, Illinois, Jeff has worked with farmers mainly over the phone, and due to covid, now from the comfort of his home. This was a very fun episode, and we cover a lot!
