Fall Time Means Fertilizer Time

What a week we had at the Ohio Farm Science Review! Great weather and a great crowd, thank you to all of you that stopped by. We really appreciate your business and the opportunity to serve your operation. Every year, we mail out postcards telling customers to come to the booth to get their free pocket knife. I know we handed out hundreds of pocket knives this week. I had a lot of people tell me they receive this email and watch our YouTube videos, and we appreciate that. Keep tuning in. Today we will regroup, start the process of getting moved back, getting this shipped out of built in time for fall. Devastators were of course a hot item at the shop. Salford tillage and BBI spreaders got a lot of action as well. Nutrient placement, residue management, and seedbed prep are things that will always need to be improved. While we were gone, the shop guys were busy building Salford tools and several other things here in the shop.

Fall Time Means Fertilizer Time

BBI Spreaders Throw Flat Accurate Patterns

As fall approaches many are gathering plans to make a dry fertility pass for next years crop. Lime, fertilizers, sone at variable rates in the fall can really be big jump on next years crops. The BBI line of spreaders is the product of decades of hard work and trial and error to get to the elite product. I had many guys at the show tell me, "this is the only spreader I have been around that throws a true 80' spread that is flat". We get that a lot. Another customer told me the co-op brought out 10,000 lbs of fertilizer and 75 acres later his computer said he spread 10,160 lbs of fertilizer. Now that is accurate.

Take control of your fertility with a BBI fertilizer and lime spreader.
