Harvest is underway in Ohio and Indiana. Although rain may have slowed us, some progress is being made. The popular talk is about input price and what is going to happen there. Will they go down? Will we all just plant beans? For us, we have seen a spike in Nh3 applicator phone calls, and we expect that to continue if prices don't adjust. Luckily we are loaded up with Nh3 equipment! This week consisted of a lot of cover crop seeder trouble shooting, a planter fertilizer installation job, assembling a field cultivator, and tomorrow we will install a dry rate controller on a Montag cart. Next week we head to Wisconsin to install a Valmar cover crop seeder on a John Deere 2660 VT tool. Stay tuned as we bring you updates on that trip.
