The heat is hopefully over for a while. That thick air was brutal. A lot of places did end up getting some rain this week. We sure did yesterday morning, which was a nice surprise to see. We had a great week here with a lot of deliveries getting done, tools being built, and a lot of calls and sales with great customers. We did sell our first Deutz tractor this week so that is big news for us, and we plan to keep that momentum going as we learn and grow with the product. Josh Wells, our Deutz territory manager, stopped by yesterday and so of course we wrangled him into recording a podcast so be sure to listen to that below. Next week Cody and I are headed to the Farm Progress Show. We hope to see some customers out there!

Check out what a Salford did to these double crops in the video below.

Deutz Tractors: Elite Engines, Fuel efficiency, Standard Options, "$100,000 Less Than the Other Green Ones"
Yesterday I had 2 gentleman stop in at the shop to look at a tillage tool, and we started talking about the Deutz tractors. They mentioned they almost bought one some years ago, and they shared they still envy their designs. So we walked over towards the fleet, and the dad eyed our 190 HP warrior tractor, and said "so how much do you get wrapped up into this one." I looked it up with the one bar of service I had on my phone at the time. I said "$225,000." He stopped in his tracks. He said he priced a comparable Deere recently and it was $100,000 more, and we had larger tires. There is a lot to love about the Deutz, and their price is certainly one of them. Come drive one or let us take one to your farm.
