It seems that the rains have finally hit most places to relieve the dry spell. I was down around Columbus, OH yesterday and found some mud in a field. Most places could use another shot. I have yet to see a field of wheat taken off, it seems this cooler weather with no sun has maybe slowed the drying process there as well. We have been busy planning our Field Day and are expecting quite a crowd to come see all of the equipment run. Don't forget to mark your calendars. There will be food afterwards, and I just caught wind yesterday, ice cream!
Our stores will be closed from tomorrow thru Tuesday, but if you need something over the weekend, we are happy to help.

Salford Switchblade Shanks Make for a Multi Purpose VT Tool
The Salford 1200 and 2200 are an already versatile tillage tool. Keep in mind, I planted my wheat, and we will harvest next week using one with a Valmar 4056 mounted to it. So no question it checks all the boxes for tillage and seeding, but now it can also get more aggressive. The switchblade shank system is designed to, at the push of a button, engage shanks to run anywhere from 3-8" deep at your discretion. Pull out tire tracks, end rows, and field drives to better manage problem areas in the field.

This Salford 25' 5200 arrived yesterday and is sold to a customer in Indiana.
Cody and Adam ran into an issue on a Hardi sprayer yesterday in Lancaster, OH. They were able to get the issue fixed and the customer back into the field.Used Items This Week
This week we have a used Blu Jet 60' 25 knife applicator. This unit has a 2000 gallon tank capacity with a coulter knife system to get the fertilizer in the ground. 3" Fill, and is in very good shape. This unit is located at our Wabash store on Highway 29.
