Yetter Magnums - Chris Von Holten, Walnut, IL"I have been using the Magnums for 3 years under ideal and less than ideal conditions to sidedress corn with very good results. The Magnums are mounted on an old 12 row 30 inch crop cultivator with a 7x7 bar pulling an anhydrous wagon. Operating speeds vary from 6 to 8 mph depending on crop height and field conditions. About 2/3 of my corn acres are COC with all of those being in standing corn stalks as I fall strip-till the corn and then come back and sidedress. Plugging with corn stalks is not an issue nor is throwing too much dirt or trash on the corn plants. Sealing has been very good with the Magnums as my rates vary from 80 to 200 lbs/ac of NH3. Overall I have been very happy with the performance of the Yetter Magnums."
